Aldo Mozzini. Quasi una retrospettiva
The exhibition Quasi una retrospettiva is the first major retrospective dedicated to Aldo Mozzini, an artist born in Locarno but active in Zurich since the eighties. The exhibition will be accompanied by a significant monograph with contributions from prominent art historians and will highlight Aldo Mozzini's contribution to the national artistic landscape.

Karim Forlin. Now... where was I?
Museo Casa Rusca presents the first monographic exhibition of Karim Forlin in a museum of Italian Switzerland. On this occasion, a selection of works from recent years will be accompanied by numerous new productions, in the spaces of Sinopia, in the garden, in the courtyard, and in a room on the ground floor.

Lisa Lurati. Going back into nothing
Going back into nothing Lisa Lurati, among the leading emerging artists of Italian Switzerland, presents a series of new productions for her first solo exhibition in a museum of Italian Switzerland, drawing from the imaginaries of ancient cultures of South and Central America, but whose archetypes are part of an intangible heritage that we can consider global.

L'occhio dinamico. Traiettorie della percezione
L'occhio dinamico. Traiettorie della percezione explores, through over half a century of artistic experimentation, the relationship between vision, space, and knowledge. From Op Art and Programmed Art to photographic research, from anamorphosis to contemporary generative practices, the exhibition highlights the ways in which perceptual processes contribute to the construction of reality, emphasizing the active and constitutive role of the gaze.

Olga Fröbe-Kapteyn: artista-ricercatrice
Casa Rusca presenta una prima mostra retrospettiva di Olga Fröbe-Kapteyn (1881-1962), artista precorritrice dell’astrazione d’importanza internazionale. Per la prima volta saranno presentati in un’unica esposizione lavori rappresentativi delle varie fasi di ricerca dell’artista: una selezione di opere tratte dai suoi dipinti astratti («tavole di meditazione», 1926-34), disegni figurativi a matita e gouache («visioni», 1934-38) ed estratti dal suo «archivio di Eranos per la ricerca sul simbolismo» (1934-44).
Le mostre sono curate da Raphael Gygax.

Loredana Sperini. Frana
Nella sua prima mostra personale istituzionale dopo oltre mezzo decennio, Loredana Sperini (*1970 Italia/Svizzera) espone un nuovo gruppo di lavori nella Sinopia del Museo Casa Rusca. L’artista presenta una serie di opere tessili, sculture in ceramica e un’installazione scultorea. Il suo linguaggio visivo oscilla tra astrazione e figurazione,approfondendo il tema del corpo umano, caratterizzato dal trauma e dall’abiezione.

Florian Germann. Eranos Machine
Nel giardino di Casa Rusca Florian Germann (*1978), che espone per la prima volta in Ticino, realizza una scultura di grandi dimensioni. L’opera è contestualizzata da una serie di altri lavori al piano terra del museo. La trasformazione delle energie può essere descritta come uno dei leitmotiv del lavoro dell’artista, oltre all’interesse per figure, motivi e campi di conoscenza letterari, cinematografici, storici e scientifici, che riprende nelle sue composizioni scultoree.
Gli artisti che presenteranno le loro opere a Casa Rusca sono accumunati dalla freschezza dell’ispirazione, ma soprattutto dalla qualità e dall’originalità della loro proposta creativa.
Stephan Spicher. Elementals - Elementi di natura
Dal 26 maggio al 14 luglio 2019 il Museo Casa Rusca dedica una mostra all’artista Stephan Spicher, presentando una selezione di opere pittoriche recenti. L’esposizione, dal titolo Elementals - Elementi di natura, s’inserisce nel solco del progetto Locarno Arte, giunto al settimo appuntamento, volto a mettere in evidenza le ricerche espressive di artisti del territorio e a offrire loro una meritevole valorizzazione a livello museale. Kleines spannendes Museeeum
Wir hatten hier die Ausstellung zu Hans Erni angesehen im 2015. Ich kann das Museum sehr empfehlen. Eine bis zwei Stunden reichen. Daneben befindet sich die Chiesa S. Antonio. Empfehlenswert!
